Many women make a common mistake when starting a fitness journey:

Setting unrealistic goals too quickly.

This often leads to frustration and burnout.

It’s easy to think that you need to make drastic changes all at once.

But small, consistent changes are more effective in the long run.

Try focusing on one area at a time.

For instance, start by improving your diet.

You can add more veggies to each meal.

Then move on to incorporating more physical activity into your daily routine.

Maybe start with a 15-minute walk each day.

The key is to create habits you can stick to.

Another common mistake is neglecting rest and recovery.

Your body needs time to heal and grow stronger.

Try to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep every night.

And don’t forget to have rest days between intense workouts.

Listening to your body helps prevent injuries and keeps you motivated.

Lastly, remember that progress takes time.

Celebrate small victories along the way.

Lost a pound?

Managed to run a bit longer than last week?

These small wins add up to big changes over time.

By avoiding the pitfall of unrealistic goals and focusing on small, manageable changes, you’ll build a sustainable, healthy lifestyle.

Keep pushing forward, and trust the process.

You’ve got this!

P.S. If you think you need a little extra guidance on the right foods for your body and what workouts would be best, then let’s have a conversation and see if Best of You is the missing piece in your transformation puzzle.
