I wanted to share an inspiring story of persistence from one of our amazing Best of You members.
When she first started Best of You, this member was struggling with motivation and consistency.
There were some weeks she fell off track and indulged in some unhealthy food choices.
And it would have been so easy to give up after those setbacks…
But she didn’t let those slip ups derail her progress.
The next week, when food temptations came around again at a work conference…
She remembered her goals and avoided repeating those choices.
Even through challenges, this Best of You member persisted in making healthier decisions most of the time.
And slowly but surely, the pounds began to come off and she started feeling more energetic.
In three months, she lost 23 pounds!

Her story reminds me that success isn’t always linear – there will be bumps along the way.
But it’s how you pick yourself up after stumbles that really counts.
By not giving up after an off week, she demonstrated the power of persistence, consistency and believing in herself above all else.
I’m so proud of this member’s dedication and wanted to celebrate her goal.
Her story goes to show that long-term change happens gradually, through focusing on the journey not any one moment.
