Hormones play such a crucial role in your overall heath…

Especially if you’re a woman.

Estrogen and progesterone are talked about the most…

But there are other hormones at work in your body too.

Take leptin for instance.

Leptin is the hormone responsible for hunger regulation.

And on the opposite end of the spectrum…

Ghrelin is the hormone responsible for telling you when you’re hungry.

These two hormones (along with insulin)…

Work together to help aid and suppress your appetite.

If the hormone leptin is working correctly…

It acts as a natural appetite suppressant.

Leptin basically signals to your brain when to stop eating.

Unfortunately, there are a number of processed foods with added ingredients.

These harmful ingredients (like high fructose corn syrup)…

Can cause serious harm and leave your hormones in shambles…

Especially leptin.

The only way leptin and ghrelin work well together is if your insulin is in check.

But if you’re insulin resistant…

(Meaning your cells don’t respond correctly to the insulin in your system…)

Then the hormone leptin is now BLOCKED.

And now the hormone ghrelin is the primary hormone involved with your hunger…

Which means you have no signal to stop eating…

And over-eating becomes the norm.

Additionally, you start storing fat like CRAZY.

It’s a vicious cycle that requires a different way of eating…

healthier way of eating food.

The great news though ?

There’s a way to do this!

And it’s a simple fix the processed food companies don’t want you to know about at all.

The best way to bring leptin under control?

Reduce the amount of fructose you consume and increase your protein intake.

Protein allows you to feel fuller for longer so you’ll be eating less.

And consuming less fructose (a type of sugar) will help to start regulating your insulin.

It sounds simple because it is…

It just requires a different approach to how you think about food…

And the types of foods you are putting in your body.

When these hormones are in balance…

You’re able to function at peak performance.

And on top of that, you just feel better.

You have more energy.

Less fatigue.

More present.

Less brain fog.

And who wouldn’t want that ?

I definitely know I would.

What about you?
